Receiver Allen Robinson Holds Third-Annual Holiday Program

On Wednesday afternoon, Jaguars Wide Receiver Allen Robinson
hosted his third annual Operation Elf Christmas program through his charity,
Allen Robinson’s Within Reach Foundation. Robinson welcomed 50 Jacksonville
area kids from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida to an Academy
Sports + Outdoors retail location. Through his Foundation’s partnership with
Academy Sports + Outdoors, Robinson was able to present each child with a new
bicycle and helmet, Jacksonville Jaguars apparel, and a pair of new tennis
shoes. Robinson spent the evening interacting with the children, posing for
pictures, signing autographs, and even helping them test out their new bikes.

Operation Elf was a welcomed experience for all of these
children, as many of them come from disadvantaged backgrounds and low-income
households. Due to their families’ financial insecurity, most of the kids in
the program would not have had a Christmas at all. Robinson’s generosity in not
only giving every kid exciting presents but also spending time with them around
the holidays provides them with a wonderful holiday memory that they will have
for the rest of their lives.

"These boys and girls are our future and it is so
important that they know adults in their community are here to support them and
help them thrive," said Robinson. "Being able to provide
opportunities like this to these kids is not only rewarding for them, it's a
priority for me and something I greatly look forward to."

Robinson first held Operation Elf in 2015, when it impacted
50 low-income Jacksonville children. Since then, the program has provided a
unique holiday experience to 130 children, who have benefitted from Allen
Robinson’s Within Reach Foundation through improved self-confidence and
reminder that success is within their reach. The mission of Allen Robinson’s
Within Reach Foundation is to provide educational opportunities and resources
to low-income and inner-city Jacksonville-area students to help put success
within their reach.
